WHO WE ARE

Spam Blockerr (“we”, “us”) provides spam and scam protection for content creators at spamblockerr.com. Contact: support@spamblockerr.com.

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile image, plus an OAuth token that lets us moderate comments on your YouTube channel. We store your channel's ID, title, and thumbnail, and the public comments posted to your channel (text, author name, author channel ID, avatar URL, and timestamps) so we can classify them and show you a review queue. We log the moderation actions taken on your behalf.

When you run the one-off free scan we also record a one-way hash of your IP address and of a randomly generated browser identifier, so the free scan can only be used once per channel. We never store the IP address itself, the hashes cannot be reversed into one, and they are not used for tracking, advertising, or profiling.

YOUTUBE API SERVICES

Spam Blockerr uses YouTube API Services. By using Spam Blockerr you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Spam Blockerr's access to your data at any time via Google security settings. Stored YouTube data is limited to what is described above.

We use a single Google Cloud project for this API Client, project number 502030760651.

COOKIES AND STORAGE ON YOUR DEVICE

Spam Blockerr stores and accesses information on your device using cookies and similar technology. We use these only to run the service; we do not use them for advertising, and we do not allow third parties to place advertising or tracking cookies through Spam Blockerr.

• Sign-in cookie. Set when you sign in, so the site knows it is still you between pages. Deleted when you sign out and expires on its own.
• Connection cookies. Two short-lived cookies (x_pkce and x_state) are set for up to ten minutes while you connect an X account. They exist to prevent a forged connection, and are deleted the moment the connection finishes.
• Browser extension storage. If you install our browser extension, it stores your account key in your browser so it can identify your account. Removing the extension removes it.

We do not read or write anything else on your device, and we do not fingerprint your browser or device.

HOW LONG WE KEEP DATA

YouTube comment data, including comment text, author names and statistics such as like counts, is deleted automatically after 30 days. This runs on a schedule and needs no action from you. It applies whether or not you are still a customer.

Anything you connect is deleted when you disconnect it. Our own record of the moderation actions you took, the date and what was done, is kept so you have a history of your own decisions, but the YouTube data it referred to is removed on the same 30-day schedule.

Deleting your account removes your channels, connections and comment data.

HOW WE USE DATA

Comment content is analyzed to detect spam, scams, and impersonation. Ambiguous comments are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for classification; Anthropic does not use this data to train models. Confirmed-spam text patterns are stored as anonymous fingerprints to improve detection for all users. We do not sell your data, show ads, or share personal data with third parties except the processors named here (Google, Anthropic, Vercel hosting, Neon database).

THE X EXTENSION

The Spam Blockerr browser extension runs entirely in your browser. It reads replies on x.com pages you visit to classify them, and only sends reply text to our servers if you configure AI classification. It never reads your X password or private messages, and stores its settings locally in your browser.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

All traffic to and from Spam Blockerr is encrypted in transit with TLS. Data is stored in a managed Postgres database that is encrypted at rest, hosted in the EU. Your Google and X access tokens are held server-side only, are never sent to your browser, and are used solely to make the API calls described above on your behalf.

Access to your data is limited to your own authenticated session. Administrative access is restricted to a named list of our staff accounts and is used only to operate and support the service. The identifiers recorded for the one-off free scan are stored only as salted one-way hashes, never in their original form.

LIMITED USE

Spam Blockerr's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the spam detection and moderation features you see in the product. It is never used for advertising, never sold or transferred to data brokers, and never used to develop, improve, or train generalised AI or machine learning models. Comment text sent to Anthropic for classification is processed solely to return a verdict for that comment and is not used by Anthropic for model training.

RETENTION & DELETION

We keep your data while your account is active. Disconnecting your Google account or emailing support@spamblockerr.com deletes your account, tokens, and stored comments within 30 days.

We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
